Ruckus at CIMS After a Hindu leader stopped outside NICU

Bilaspur | Correspondent: A Hindu leader got enraged after being stopped at the entrance of the NICU due to hygiene reasons. 

In reaction to this, the alleged Hindu leader Ram Singh Thakur, in anger, grabbed the collar of the on-duty security guard Manish Kashyap, insulted and threatened him. 

The collar was grabbed in such a bad way that Kashyap's neck chain and a locket broke. 

The incident created a situation of ruckus and chaos within the premises. Besides a video also surfaced in which Thakur was seen verbally abusing and threatening the guard, stating, 'Tumhare do baap ke saath aaunga, dean ko bulaunga, swasthya mantri ko bhi bulaunga, sabka hisab-kitab kar denge. Naukar ho toh naukri karo' - 'I will come along with your two fathers, then will call the Dean and the Health Minister. Will settle scores. You are just a servant, do your job.' 

Thakur further stated, 'You are drawing salaries from our money, do not harass the common man. You are acting high-handedly. I will settle all the scores with you. If I come along with your two fathers (powerful patrons), you will bow down and touch my feet.

Ram Singh says, there is a way of talking, the guard was not polite and said angrily Are kahan jaa rahe ho?' 'Where are you going!' The guard could also be polite and say 'Bhai mat jaiye,' 'Brother, please don't go'. 

The guard was impolite and abusive in general to whoever came there, hence, such a difficult situation was created, he added. 

The nursing staff who were present there tried to handle the situation. 

Meanwhile, the hospital authority's M.S. Lakhan Singh said the matter will be investigated, and discussions will be held with both parties involved. 

He emphasized that any form of commotion, verbal abuse, or physical altercation within the hospital premises would not be tolerated under any circumstances. 

Further action will be taken based on the findings of the investigation report.
