New Delhi | Desk: The ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel shows no signs of abating. Following the failure of talks held in Pakistan to yield any concrete results, the rhetoric has intensified.

After the talks in Pakistan ended unsuccessfully, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Baghai stated that an agreement could not be reached due to "disagreements on two or three key points" with the United States.

Speaking to the Iran News Network, Ismail Baghai said, "Through Pakistan's mediation, 24 to 25 rounds of indirect talks were held. In some matters, we reached an agreement with the American delegation; however, on two or three issues, our views differed, and we were unable to reach a consensus."

However, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson did not specify exactly which issues remained unresolved with the United States.

He merely noted that the addition of new issues, such as regional matters and the Strait of Hormuz, has further complicated the negotiations, and it is unlikely that an agreement can be reached within a single day.

Ismail Baghai remarked that the talks with the United States began in an "atmosphere of mistrust," making the likelihood of reaching an agreement in a single meeting extremely slim.

He stated, "These negotiations took place in an atmosphere of mistrust and suspicion, following 40 days of conflict. Naturally, one could not expect an agreement to be reached in just a single meeting. No one anticipated that."

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson also affirmed that Iran would continue to maintain contact and dialogue with Pakistan and its "other friends" in the region.

He further added, "Diplomacy never ends; it serves as a means to safeguard a nation's interests."

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made remarks regarding Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. In response, the Turkish Foreign Ministry issued a statement aimed at Netanyahu. Netanyahu wrote on X, "Under my leadership, Israel will continue the fight against Iran's terrorist regime and its proxies-whereas Erdoğan supports them and has committed genocide against his own Kurdish citizens."

In response, the Turkish Foreign Ministry issued a statement describing the allegations leveled against Erdoğan as "baseless and false."

The Turkish Foreign Ministry stated, "The baseless and false accusations leveled against our President by Israeli officials are the result of the discomfort stemming from the truths that we have consistently raised on every platform."

The statement further added, "Turkey will stand with innocent civilians and will continue its efforts to ensure that Netanyahu is held accountable for the crimes he has committed."

Furthermore, the Turkish Foreign Ministry also referred to Netanyahu as the "Hitler of our time."
