Chaos errupted after famous cow savior Farsa waale baba died

Mathura | Desk: The situation became tense in the Kosi Kalan area of Mathura district, Uttar Pradesh, after the death of the famous saint of Braj and Cow savior Saint Chandrashekhar alias 'Farsa waale Baba' on Saturday morning.

Following the information, enraged localites agitated and blocked the Mathura National Highway.

The protesters allege that while the Baba was attempting to stop a vehicle on suspicion of cow smuggling, the smugglers ran him over, thereby killing him.

During the ensuing chaos, a violent clash erupted between the agitated crowd and the police, resulting in damage to government vehicles.

Given the gravity of the situation, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the incident. Directing officials to take the strictest possible action against the culprits, the Chief Minister asserted that no offender would be spared.

However, in this case, the police's statement differs from the claims made by the protesters.

According to the official statement issued by the Mathura Police, the incident occurred between approximately 3:00 AM and 4:00 AM due to dense fog.

The police state that the vehicle Baba had stopped was carrying groceries, and a truck loaded with wire approaching from behind collided with them.

Terming it a road accident, the police have completely ruled out any angle of cow smuggling. Currently, a heavy police force has been deployed in the area, and legal action is being taken to keep the situation under control.
