Vision 2047 in spotlight as Winter Session begins

Raipur | Correspondent: The Winter session of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly commenced on Sunday in the newly built Assembly building in Nava Raipur. 

The session will be completely paperless. The house to discuss 'Vission 2047'. 

Finance Minister OP Chaudhary stated that 'Vision 2047' is a concrete roadmap toward a developed Chhattisgarh, based on suggestions from every segment of society.

Advice of nearly a lakh has been incorporated into this vision. 

Only BJP MLAs will be attending the first day of session as Congress MLAs boycotted the first day.

Legislators have raised 628 questions in the winter session. 96 percent of these questions have been submitted online. 

The session will run for four days, from December 14 to 17, 2025. There was no Question Hour on the first day.

While on the second day, the House is expected to be discuss issues including law and order, paddy, electricity, and land rates.

Along with Congress MLAs, BJP MLAs will also question ministers on these issues. 

Of these 628 questions, 333 are starred and 295 are unstarred.

The most important issue in this session will be religious conversion.

According to reports, the government may introduce the Religious Conversion Amendment Bill.
