Indore's Chief Medical and Health Officer, Dr. Madhav Prasad Hasani, said that these patients have come forward from the Bhagirathpura area in the last few days.

Local residents allege that their health deteriorated after drinking Narmada river water supplied through taps by the municipal corporation.

On this matter, Indore Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava said that water samples have been sent for testing, and the situation will become clear only after the report is received within 48 hours.

It is worth noting that Indore depends on the Narmada river for its water supply, which is brought through pipelines from Jalood, located about 80 kilometers away. Currently, the administration is awaiting the report, and precautionary measures are being taken in the affected area. (Symbolic Photo)
