Raipur | Correspondent: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, celebrating Diwali with security personnel at a CRPF camp in Chhattisgarh's Bastar district on Sunday, November 8, 2026, said, "The end of Maoist terror is a victory for the nation's sound policies and strong political will."

The government's decisions dismantled the entire network of counterfeit currency and completely severed the supply lines for both Maoists and separatists.

Describing the fight against Naxalism as a difficult one, he recalled a time when more than 230 districts across nearly 20 states in the country were severely affected by the Naxalite problem.

Highlighting the struggle against Maoist terror and Naxalism, he asserted that to move the nation forward, the enemies of the country must be crushed with unwavering resolve and a well-planned strategy.

Referring to 2014, he noted that when citizens allowed this 'Pradhan Sevak' (prime servant) to serve 'Maa Bharati' (Mother India), the country's long-standing lack of political will was finally addressed.

PM Modi also highlighted that, for the first time in 47 years, not a single CRPF soldier has lost their life in the line of duty over the past year.
