Netanyahu Warns Iran: 'No One Is Safe' as Conflict Intensifies
New Delhi | Correspondent:The war between Iran and Israel has now entered its seventh day, with tensions escalating rapidly. On Thursday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a stern warning, stating that “no one in Iran is safe anymore-not even Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.” Earlier in the day, Netanyahu had vowed that Israel would exact the full price for Iran’s recent attacks.
In a similarly aggressive tone, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz referred to Khamenei as a “modern-day Hitler.” Katz said,“A dictator like Khamenei does not deserve the right to live. He has consistently tried to eliminate Israel through his regional proxies.”
These strong statements came in the wake of a massive Iranian missile strike on Thursday morning, targeting four major Israeli cities: Tel Aviv, Beersheba, Ramat Gan, and Holon. Among the targets hit were the Israeli Stock Exchange building in Tel Aviv and a hospital in Beersheba, causing widespread panic and damage.
Casualty Update
176 people have been injured in these attacks, with 6 in critical condition.
24 Israelis have been confirmed dead.
On the Iranian side, a Washington-based human rights group has claimed that 639 Iranians have been killed so far, and 1,329 have been injured, likely due to Israeli counterstrikes.
India’s Evacuation Efforts
Amid escalating hostilities, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has extended its evacuation efforts to include both Iran and Israel. Under ‘Operation Sindhu,’ Indian nationals are being evacuated via land borders for safety.
On Thursday morning, 110 Indian students were successfully evacuated from Iran and arrived in New Delhi.
Nuclear Threat and Netanyahu’s Statement
Speaking from Soroka Medical Center, Netanyahu made a bold declaration- “By the end of this operation, Israel will have eliminated all nuclear and ballistic missile threats from Iran.”
He added that Israel has already inflicted severe damage to Iran’s nuclear program.
When asked by journalists whether Ayatollah Ali Khamenei himself could be a potential target, Netanyahu responded, “No one is exempt.”
Khamenei’s Response
In response to Israel’s statements and ongoing conflict, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei addressed the Iranian public through a post on social media platform X. He wrote-“If the enemy senses fear in you, they will never stop attacking. Continue to act with the same firmness and determination that you have shown so far.”
This exchange of fierce rhetoric and escalating attacks marks a dangerous phase in the Iran-Israel conflict, drawing global attention and increasing concerns of a broader regional war.
