Teenager gangraped in CM Home district Jashpur
Jashpur | Correspondent: A 17-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by seven individuals, including six minors, in Jashpur district, the home district of Chhattisgarh’s Chief Minister.
The incident occurred on Sunday night in the Pathalgaon police station area when the victim was returning home from a weekly market with her friends.
The girl, a resident of Sarguja district, was acquainted with the accused. As she was heading home from the market, the accused allegedly kidnapped her and forcibly took her to a nearby forest, where the assault took place.
Since the incident happened in Pathalgaon, which is in the neighboring Jashpur district, the Sitapur police have registered a Zero FIR.
The case will be transferred to the Jashpur police for further investigation and action.
Currently, the police have detained all seven accused, including a 19-year-old and others aged between 15 and 17.
Mentally Challenged Girl Gang-Raped in Sakti
A horrific incident occurred in Sakti district where a mentally challenged girl was gang-raped.
Three young men lured the girl to an abandoned house and assaulted her. Upon learning of the crime, villagers apprehended the accused, beat them, and then handed them over to the police.
All three were reportedly intoxicated at the time of the incident. The crime took place in the Dabra police station area. According to the victim’s brother, his sister suffers from a mental disability.
Minor Raped During Wedding Ceremony in Kondagaon
In another tragic incident, a minor was raped during a wedding ceremony in Kondagaon, resulting in a 4-month pregnancy.
The incident occurred in the Dhanora police station area. The police have since arrested the accused.
Deaf and Mute Woman Raped in Raigarh
A disturbing case has emerged in Raigarh district involving the rape of a deaf and mute woman.
The incident occurred in the jurisdiction of Kotra Road police station.
The victim, who lives with her brother and sister-in-law, was assaulted by a neighbor.
According to police reports, the woman was working in a vegetable field behind her house when the 39-year-old accused approached and raped her.
The victim’s brother reported the incident to the police, who have since registered a case and arrested the accused.
