One more tiger found dead in Chhattisgarh
Raipur | Correspondent: One more tiger was found dead in Chhattisgarh. Carcass of the tiger was discovered in the river near Devsil Katwar of Koriya district reported Forest department.
However, the department has no idea behind the reason of the death.
Earlier the department had claimed about the continuous monitoring of the tiger.
Since October 16, the presence of a tiger has been reported in the regions of Koriya forest division with continuous evidence in areas of Baikunthpur and Koriya.
Villagers also mentioned sightings of the tiger in the forests of Chamad Pahad, Jam Ghat, Lota Pani, Temri, and Katkona.
During this period, the tiger attacked and killed a buffalo belonging to Mahendra Yadav, a resident of Sorga, in the Temri village forest of Patna.
It also injured the buffaloes of Rajaram Yadav and Santosh Yadav from Tendua village.
Despite the forest department’s claims of monitoring the tiger and installing cameras, their efforts seems ineffective.
