NEET UG results announced
New Delhi | Desk: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the NEET-UG results on Saturday, following the Supreme Court’s directive.
Results have been released according to the city, state and examination center.
On July 18, the Supreme Court mandated that the NTA declare the NEET-UG results by 12 noon on July 20, ensuring student identities remain confidential on the website.
The bench, comprising Chief Justice DVI Chandrachud, Justice JB Pardiwala, and Manoj Mishra, specified that results should be declared according to the city.
Despite the Solicitor General’s opposition to publishing center-wise results, the court maintained its directive.
This decision follows petitions filed in the Supreme Court alleging irregularities in the NEET-UG examination.
Approximately 24 lakh candidates took the exam, with 1,563 participating in the re-exam.
