During a media interaction after his resignation, Champai Soren said, “It is about our alliance. Recently, we decided to change the leadership.”
He continued, “When we changed the leadership, I was given the responsibility of the Chief Minister’s post. After this, political developments occurred, and Hemant Babu came back. We have again elected Hemant Babu as the leader of the alliance, and I have resigned from the post of Chief Minister.”
Champai Soren added, “We have followed the alliance’s decisions.”
Former Chief Minister Hemant Soren stated, “The honorable Chief Minister has said everything. There is a lot of chaos right now; we will provide more details later. We have completed whatever process was necessary.”
