Elderly detects covid positive in Bilaspur

Raipur | Correspondent: A 66-year-old elderly hailing from Bilaspur district detected covid positive.

After six-month long period Covid infection detected in Chhattisgarh, concern among the health department rises.

The elderly was admitted in the apollo hospital after he complained with symptoms of breathlessness.

Besides, Bilaspur resident was diabetes and HIV positive. Currently is admitted in ICU, under critical condition, said Bilaspur Chief Medical Health Officer Dr. Prabhat Shrivastava.

No travel history has been found.

The positive patient’s family have been suggested to quarantine themselves, as the family screening is yet to be done.

Chhattisgarh reported two covid deaths with comorbidities in the month of January.
