Congress Clarifies: “We Don’t Hate Modi, We Love Our Country”
New Delhi | Desk: Following a statement by Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a wave of political reactions has been set off.
During an election rally on Sunday, Mallikarjun Kharge, while feeling momentarily unwell, regained his composure and declared, “I will stay alive until Modi is removed.”
In response to this, Home Minister Amit Shah accused Congress of harboring hatred toward PM Modi, stating, “This shows how much hatred Congress has for him.”
Reacting to Shah’s comment, Congress leader Pawan Khera emphasized, “When will the BJP understand that the Congress party does not hate Narendra Modi? We love our country, and that’s why we seek to free it from Modi ji’s ideology and leadership.”
Khera further added, “We believe it’s time for him to step down as Prime Minister. 67% of the country, those who didn’t vote for him, want the same.”
He concluded, “Modi ji believes he is irreplaceable, but this isn’t about personal feelings. We don’t hate him; our love for the country drives us to seek a change in leadership.”
