BJP pledges jobs for Agniveers & Rs. 2100 for women in Haryana

Chandigarh | Desk: Bharatiya Janata Party has made significant promises in their manifesto ahead of Haryana assembly elections, promising government jobs for the Agniveers if their part comes to power.

The commitment was highlighted in the manifesto released on Thursday by the BJP President J.P Nadda.

During the manifesto launch, he emphasized that BJP is the only cadre-based party in India.

Taking a dig at other political parties, he stated that “Other parties may have leaders, but they lack intent, policies, and dedicated workers.

The BJP on other hand has it all including dedicated workers, policies, intent, and moreover a conducive environment to work.

Among the key promises in the manifesto, the party has mentioned about the Lado Lakshmi Scheme in which the party will provide an amount of Rs 2100 to all the women in the Haryana state.

Additionally, the BJP has pledged to build 10 new industrial cities, healthcare benefits up to Rs 10 lakh per family under the Chirayu-Ayushman yojana, and older citizens above the age of 70 years would receive free-of-cost treatment worth up to Rs. 5 lakhs.

For the farmers, BJP has announced to procure 24 crops at the Minimum Support Price (MSP), and create government jobs for 2 lakh youths, besides, the party also plans to build 5 lakh houses in both urban and rural areas.

Other notable promises also include offering cylinders in Rs 500 under Ghar Grehani Yojana and providing scooters to all the college-going girls hailing from the rural background through Avval Balika Yojana.
