AAP Faces Setback in Haryana; Kejriwal Reflects on Lessons
New Delhi | Desk:The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has faced a significant setback in the Haryana assembly elections.
Arvind Kejriwal, leader of AAP, which had high hopes of forming the government, reflected on the outcome, stating that the key takeaway from the election is to never be overconfident.
Ahead of the elections, there was speculation about a potential alliance between AAP and the Congress Party. However, AAP ultimately chose to contest the elections independently, announcing its own slate of candidates.
With AAP now suffering a crushing defeat, Kejriwal emphasized the difficulty of every election, saying, “In every election, every seat is a challenge.”
He further urged his party to stay focused: “Serve the nation with whatever resources you have. No election should be taken lightly. The biggest lesson from today’s results is to avoid overconfidence.”
Kejriwal also called for unity within the party, stressing the importance of hard work and avoiding internal conflicts. “Every seat is tough in every election. Everyone must work hard and stay united,” he added.
